1. One of the main goals of Lavina Natural Cosmetics is to create natural cosmetics that would be useful and comfortable for everyday use.
Many users of cosmetics, who are accustomed to commercial cosmetics, are quite skeptical when it comes to the comfort of natural cosmetics. Usually, the term natural cosmetics associates them with numerous effective balms, which we have nothing to complain about when it comes to the treatment and healing of some health problems, but due to their discomfort, greasy and hard-to-absorb composition, balms are usually used as a last resort, when nothing else helps.
Balms are most often made from macerate (concentrated medicinal plant or several plants in cold-pressed organic oil) and wax. When mentioning wax, we cannot but emphasize the importance of it and its healing properties, but we must also mention that real, pure wax is less and less available. Such wax is very expensive and that it is very questionable whether the batches on the market are made from cold-pressed wax or from a mixture of wax and paraffin, which is an absolutely unacceptable raw material in natural and healthy cosmetics. Paraffin, although of natural origin, is a derivative of petroleum – we can say it is 100% natural, but it does not belong in the category of healthy raw materials for the human body, so we cannot use it in healthy cosmetics.
Another product of natural cosmetics causes mistrust in the comfort of use among users of commercial cosmetics, and that is pseudo-emulsion. Here I just want to mention that I have met many users of commercial cosmetics and that many of them said that they would be happy to use natural cosmetics if they were more comfortable to use, if the creams were absorbed faster into the facial skin, similar to commercial creams. Many of the mentioned users of commercial cosmetics most likely attempted to switch to natural cosmetics at some point, and because of their poor knowledge, they reached for pseudo-emulsion, i.e. a product that, in terms of its appearance, structure and composition, looks very similar to the classic face cream, but upon using the pseudo-emulsion, they “decided” they that natural cosmetics are not for them.
Pseudo-emulsion is a cream with 50% fat phase and 50% water phase. Pseudo-emulsion has a creamy structure, but the proportion of the fatty phase is too large to suit people who expect almost immediate absorption of the cream. Such “creams”, pseudo-emulsions, are extremely effective – they have therapeutic properties if high-quality oils [50%] aloe gel, wax and hydrolate (in total 50%), are used for its composition, and if a few drops of real essential oils, such as Immortelle, Frankincense, Geranium, etc., are added to all of that, then it’s a real healthy and natural “cream” – pseudo-emulsion. Such “creams” do not require preservatives and their storage life is more than 6 months, at room temperature, provided that all hygienic measures were followed during the production of the cream.
Lavina Cosmetics has not remained immune to this benefit, to this gift of nature, and in its cosmetic collection it has one pseudo-emulsion, with a fantastic effect on the skin, with the effect of eliminating inflammatory processes on the skin, and it works great on rosacea, keeping it completely under control all within of two days. Lavina, night face cream, is also the first product of Lavina cosmetics and it is the only product that could be classified as “uncomfortable”, so it is classified as night skin care for the face.
Next up…the second goal of Lavina Natural Cosmetics,
2. Designing natural and comfortable cosmetics that contain 100% useful substances for the skin.
